ABOUT US

The Centre for Responsible Leadership was founded with a bold vision: to tackle the world's most pressing challenges by convening thought leaders from across the globe to develop actionable solutions. This vision culminated in the inaugural 2019 Responsible Leaders Summit at the United Nations, where distinguished figures from government, faith, media, and business collaborated on tangible commitments to address humanity's greatest challenges.

In the face of the ongoing pandemic, innovative approaches are essential to continue and build upon the significant progress made since the 2019 Summit. The Centre for Responsible Leadership remains steadfast in its mission to foster leadership that prioritizes the future over the present, integrating sustainability into all decision-making processes.

Responsible leaders are guided by conviction, not convenience. In a world marked by complexity and polarization, they are committed to making principled decisions, even when they are challenging.

Moreover, true responsible leadership is constructive, aiming to uplift individuals, communities, and environments without causing harm. Our aim is to forge a path towards a new world while preserving and enhancing the existing one.

At The Centre for Responsible Leadership, we believe in educating and mentoring future leaders, ensuring that these ideals are perpetuated across generations. Together, we strive to build a better world and invite you to join us in this transformative journey.Join us in shaping a future where leadership is synonymous with responsibility, sustainability, and constructive progress. Together, we can make a difference.

VISION The Centre for Responsible Leadership envisions a world where leaders across all sectors and levels of society embody the principles of responsible leadership. Our vision is rooted in the belief that true leaders act with conviction, fostering a constructive future for the global community.

At the Centre for Responsible Leadership, we are dedicated to cultivating a non-partisan, inclusive, and collaborative community of leaders. We provide a platform where leaders transcend divisive issues, engaging in reflective dialogues about the essence of leadership. This approach allows for a broader perspective on the complex challenges we collectively face.

We recognize and honor leaders who embrace this wider view, crafting visionary solutions to the critical issues of our time. These leaders lead with conviction, prioritize constructive actions, and refrain from destructive practices. We aim to celebrate their efforts, amplify their impact, and inspire others to emulate their responsible leadership within their spheres of influence.

As traditional models of leadership wane in the face of modern challenges and unprecedented transparency, there is a global demand for a new paradigm of leadership. Responsible leadership answers this call by guiding governments, businesses, religions, and community groups toward collective direction and purpose.

MISSION

The Centre for Responsible Leadership is driven by a three-fold mission:

1. Shape Future Leaders: We are committed to cultivating the next generation of leaders who make decisions based on the future rather than the present. These leaders act with conviction, not convenience, fostering a culture of accountability, constructive action, and forward-thinking initiatives that promote responsible leadership.

2. Promote Unity and Accountability: We advocate for leaders who prioritize unity over division, making decisions based on conviction rather than convenience. Through collaborative efforts, we tackle global challenges constructively, aiming to build bridges and promote accountability in leadership.

3. Celebrate and Perpetuate Responsibility: We celebrate responsible leaders whose decisions are constructive rather than destructive, yielding enduring benefits beyond their own lifetimes. By recognizing and supporting these leaders, we aim to perpetuate a culture of responsibility and inspire others to follow their example..

Method

Our approach is grounded in advocacy, programming, education, and mentorship:

1. Advocacy and Programming: We convene current and emerging leaders to develop sustainable, ethical, and innovative solutions to global problems through collaborative initiatives and dialogues.

2. Educational Initiatives: We educate and mentor students at schools and universities, instilling the principles of responsible leadership from an early stage.

3. Global Mentorship Programs: We cultivate responsible leadership across diverse global communities, ensuring these principles are ingrained in our collective leadership DNA. Our network of pioneers and standard-bearers pass down these guiding principles to future generations.
