Today, June 15th, marks the Centenary of H.H. Acharya Sushil Kumar Ji Maharaj (Guru ji), a sacred moment of remembrance, gratitude, and deep reflection.
The greatest blessing one can receive in life is the presence of a Guru. I have been profoundly fortunate to be under the guidance of Guru ji throughout my entire life. I am, in fact, the third generation in my family devoted and dedicated to him and to his timeless teachings.
H.H. Acharya Sushil Kumar Ji (Gur ji) was not only a spiritual guide, but a true trailblazer, a visionary who carved a new path with courage, clarity and conviction. He was revolutionary in his approach, yet deeply rooted in compassion and wisdom. His influence extended far beyond any single community, earning him respect and reverence across the world.
Everything I am and everything I continue to become, I owe to Guru ji. I remain a beneficiary of his extraordinary legacy, one that continues to shape lives, inspire purpose and awaken higher consciousness across generations.
His wisdom, his presence and his guidance continue to illuminate my path every single day. Even though he left his physical body in 1994, I have not for a moment felt he is not with, for truly he is with me even more now that he has no physical attachments of the world.
If anything, his presence has become even more powerful, more guiding and more transformative.
My life was changed forever through him and that transformation continues to deepen with each passing year.
As we honor his Centenary, we celebrate not only his memory but the living force of his teachings that continue to shape lives across generations.
Guru ji is not just remembered. He is lived. He is experienced. He is present in every step I take.
The greatest gift one can offer to a Guru is to walk in their footsteps, to build upon their legacy, carry forward their vision and strive to make them proud.
I remain eternally grateful.
